Betty Bowen Viewpoint or Marshall Park on Queen Anne's Southwest slope is a thing of beauty. Betty Bowen was a patron of the arts in Seattle and supported artists like Morris Graves whom she met as a teenager. There are some wonderful art installations right here (including an unsigned Morris Graves)for all to enjoy if the view from Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood isn't enough.
Beautiful Southwest Queen Anne View Location: This park is located on the very West end of West Highland Drive over looking Seattle's Puget Sound and at the foot of the South end of the Wilcox Wall.
Queen Anne Seattle Living: Queen Anne real estate: Are you interested in living in one of Seattle's oldest and most beautiful neighborhoods? We are happy to show you some of our favorite spots here!

About Me:
Seattle real estate has been a big part of my life for well over a decade since I began my career in real estate, but also before that time when I was in the process of purchasing my own first home. Buying your first home can be quite overwhelming, but I have managed to help many first time home buyers along the way.
Move up Seattle buyers and other types of specialized purchasing is a great passion of mine! I love Seattle houseboats and you can find me down on the docks of Lake Union and Portage Bay several times a week. Other aspects of Seattle real estate that I adore include Queen Anne Real Estate,Wallingford Real Estate, Ballard Real Estate, Green Lake Real Estate, Laurelhurst Real Estate, Magnolia Real Estate, andSeattle Waterfront Real Estate.
In addition to being a Seattle residential broker and founder of Cooper Jacobs & Seattle Afloat, I am also a member of CBA (Commercial Brokers Association) and head of the Cooper Jacobs Commercial Division in an effort to provide excellent commercial real estate services to the Seattle commercial real estate industry. With a background in accounting and management, it is my great pleasure to coordinate our Seattle commercial brokers.

Hi Courtney I did a lot of work for about 6 months on a house across the street from that park----I used to go down there and eat my lunch and look at the view when the weather was nice.
Seattle is such a beautiful place. It's been about 10 years since I've been up and am over due for a trip. Use to go to Orcas Is every summer when I was kid.
Courtney - fabulous view ... Fred was a lucky guy it looks like a great place to sit and have lunch
Charlie, that is awesome! Those houses are amazing! which one was it? The one on the South sid eof Highland right across the street? I love that one!
JIm - let me know when you are up - I would love to take you out for coffee:)
Hi Kathy - Yes the view is amazing on the Southwest slope of Queen Anne here! The homes here are also amazing!
Courtney---nope--much more "modest" one:) Second one North on the West side of 7th
Very cool - so below the Wilcox Wall? Am I going in the right direction there:)
That would be above---North----as long as I am in the right city:)
H aha - Even walking the Queen Anne Boulevard can challenge my directional skills:) Well the house could not be so modest then.... hmmmm Now Wilcox Wall comes South to this Viewpoint and it runds along 8th PL W so I am thinking that the house must have been North as you say and then maybe below the Wall if it is on 7th .. although it does get a little curvey there. Is it possible the house was North and West of the Viewpoint?
How are you otherwise?
LOL - very cool! You are such a techie!!!! and you are right, of course. I read an interesting article about a bunch of attempts on the life of trees below that street... trying to recapture views maybe? The guy says he sees attempts all the time.
Northeast it is - 9th is the street I was thinking of just North of the Viewpoint:)
"Midnight Pruning" goes on all over these view hillsides----not just Queen Anne:)
